The Tantive IV+Р вЂњРЎвЂ“n++n++s walls are now white.Р вЂќР Р‹1 - Re-coloured R2+Р вЂњРЎвЂ“n++n++s dome lights throughout the movie so they match closer to the rest of the saga. Of course, Greedo doesn't shoot first (but he does blink!).Р вЂќР Р‹ - Star Wars Logo: originally it receded way too quickly so this has been slowed down to match the speed in the rest of the saga.Р вЂќРЎС› - The crawl appears slightly earlier now, as it did pre ANH, so it appears at the correct music cue that Williams+Р вЂњРЎвЂ“n++n++ intended, and how I remember it.Р вЂќР в‚¬ - As the camera pans down to Tatooine you now see the 3 moons instead of just 2Р вЂќР’В¤ - Tatooine now rotates slightly as the ships fly overheadР вЂќР’В¦ - Removed the horrible blue hazing as the stardestroyers engine come into viewР вЂќР’В§ - Changed the explosion as the Tantive IV is hit to remove a lot of the smoke.Р вЂќР Рѓ - Added a jerk to the motion of the Tantive IV as it is hitР вЂќР’В© - Speeded up the star field in that shot so the Tantive IV seems to be moving as fast as it did in previous shots.Р вЂќР Р‹0 - Colour correction of the whole film to remove the blue tint. It's also nice to see many thing that Lucas inexplicably removed (or lost in the mix) when he released the SE's on DVD (audio section - Death Star attack fanfare). I still prefer the original but I was amazed by the quality of the work done here. Anyone else seen this? If you're a SW fan and haven't seen it, I highly recommend checking it out. For example, the re editing of the Vader Kenobi lightsaber sequence has added some energy to a pretty lethargic clash of titans but the addition of music to the scene doesn't fit at all, IMO. Some work and some don't, sometimes simultaneously. Came across this fan edit online and was intrigued after reading the laundry list of changes and additions.
